I was curious to know what the 36.6 degree thing was all about, ive kept away from wool as i had memories of wool itching me as a kid but i took the plunge and im so glad i did, this is the most comfortable top i have ever worn, its a bit hard to describe why? The temperature its keeping me at is so bang on, im not over heating so much like i struggled with wearing fleece products, its fascinating im looking forward to future use and discovering more natural fibre clothing itching does not seem to be an issue either.
Arms they are a bit long. Overall love the garment.
This is a review based on seven months of - near - daily wearing of this jacket. I can honestly say that this jacket has exceeded my expectations. It has handled a wide range of temperature and weather conditions very comfortably. I bought one for my son five months ago and he agrees fully with my comments. Well made and great value.

My husband loves the Wilderness 36.6MKM as yet he hasn’t worn it out doors. Last year I bought him 1/4 zip duel 36.6 MKM which he loved it kept him warm & snug That’s why I ordered another one for work. I am thinking of getting myself one as well.
Last year I purchased an MKM 36.6 Tasman jersey. I was expecting something similar in the Wilderness Jacket and was surprised to see how lightweight this was. Admittedly, I was somewhat disappointed, having expected the same heavyweight garment as the Tasman. It is not, but I am surprised at how warm it is. It's very well made and my only gripe is the zipper seems a little lightweight. Time will tell how it will wear over the years. The past few days it's been well below freezing and I've been out and about in the jacket and it is warm! It does block light winds. Overall, I'm quite happy with the jacket. I am definitely a fan of the possum/merino blend. Four stars because of the zipper though. It just doesn't seem like it's the same quality as the rest of the garment.
I love this jacket, i wear it at every opportunity i get, the dual layer jacket means i never get cold or too warm either. Thoroughly recommend this product.
