Gumboot Socks
My husband ABSOLUTELY ADORES his gumboot socks. He wears them every day, regardless of the occasion. He's a bus driver and they keep his feet really warm. Sitting in a bus all day, the cold comes up through the floor and can really make the feet cold, but the Gumboot socks prevent this. Plus, when seated, the trousers ride up a bit, allowing the cold draught to bite at the ankles, but the Gumboot socks keep his ankles snuggly warm. He has about 14 pairs, now - so that he knows he always has some available, even if a heap of them are some still hanging on the clothes line.
