One of our top sellers, this crew neck plain knit sweater is hardwearing, warm and New Zealand Made. These are a generous fitting garment under the arm, around the chest and do give/stretch a little with human movement.
If you tend to put holes in your elbows, try out the Backyard's big brother, The Ultimate Jersey with Suede patches on the elbows and shoulders.

This is the best value wool jumper you can buy. Extremely good quality, made in NZ, and warm. Very competitively priced. Excellent for day-to-day wear. Colours all look good. I've owned 3. Also have to say the crew at NZ Natural Clothing have always provided fantastic customer service.

Backyard Wool Jersey - Agate
A warm and robust jersey, similar to the MKM Ultimate, but without the patches and in a more visually textured rib knit. I'm very happy with it; it's warm and robust. I have no doubts about the durability. I'll have to wear it more before I know if it earns 5 stars. Based on my usual size for the MKM Ultimate Jersey, I ordered the Large size for the Backyard Jersey, but the Backyard Jersey is knitted comparatively slimmer in the body and sleeves. This might be to account for the looser knit; it fits, but it's just more snug and form fitting than the fit I get with the Ultimate Jersey. Hopefully my Backyard Jersey will loosen up over time to fit me just as I want it to.
