Great tops a must have over winter these are a gift for my Uncle he still wears a old tattered one so 2 new woolen tees for him very happy . i have 10 more oders to place hoping for a discount
Warm and fantastic
I couldn't wear them out so I had to replace them as I had lost weight as they were too big for me. Simply the Best!!!
I wear this under hivis shirts in winter .Thin merino would leave sweat feeling cold as it would cling to my skin .The shearers t-shirt seems to sit above the skin because of it coarseness .
Classic shirt, warm &tough..
this product is horrible to wear very rough and itchy ,but if you like to torcher your skin in itchy ness then go for it ,some ppl might like that , ive bought products from this company before but this garment has turned me right off them , here's a tip buy the fine version of this and you'll be right but this product is unwearable as far as I'm concerned
I live in my shearer's vest - and in fact, in my locality in NZ, the humble shearer's vest, (black woollen tee) is a bit of an icon, worn by farriers, engineers, dairy farmers as well as myself (also not a shearer). What we like? Well, they're warm firstly. A little bit showerproof if you're caught in a drizzle. Not waterproof, but still warm if the drizzle turns to downpour. They're easy to wear, and long enough to cover your kidneys (and keep your backside warm if you're sitting on cold concrete, metal tractor seat or your fav saddle on a frosty morning). They're hard wearing, sustainable, and look pretty good too! Any regrets? Nope, not one, but some people call these scratchy and can't wear them directly against their skin. If you suspect this might be you, you have two options: Pop a t-shirt on underneath, or purchase the soft / finer Merino version instead.
Great hard wearing shirt, good natural wool.
