The material was very different to merino I've purchased for many years (a fine soft warm wool) these are more like a synthetic feel & very itchy. Also I am usually an XS-S sizing. I purchased S & top is very tight. A Med would have been a truer size S. Just lucky I have skinny arms. Recommend to order a size up.
