I bought this for my daughter as she loved borrowing her brothers all the time. She rates this jersey highly due to its warmth and feels it looks smart as well.

Really warm jersey however both of mine have shrunk to the point that they just about don't fit anymore. NZNC Staff: Hi Kathryn! That's sad to hear that your Tasman jerseys have shrunk in the wash. The usual reasoning behind this is it's been washed in a warm or hot wash, or put in the dryer. The heat causes the natural fibers to shrink and the jersey therefore gets smaller. We recommend washing on a cold woolen wash cycle using wool detergent. This is my second Tasman dual layer which is endorsement enough, a repeat buyer :) They are warm and cosy comfortable. My only negative is that the wool outer layer is very thin and after one year started to wear through on numerous contact friction points, notably the elbows and arms. I managed to get another winter out of it by sewing on leather elbow patches and darning up the holes before they became too large. Increasing the durability of the outer layer would vastly improve the garment, but all said, still a very good quality knit that I've recommended to friends.
This is my 2nd Tasman. Literally the warmest piece of clothing I own. Love that it can be used as your main outer garment on mild days or a great base layer in the dead of winter. Possum/Merino inner and 100% wool outer is truly Amazing!

Warm, soft and light. They are a generous size, nice long arms and body. I am normally 2xl. The 2xl is fine by my loose taste but if you like tight don’t go oversize. Now just need to protect from moths. I have gone to cheap not quite water tight kayak bags. Moths have taste. The finer the wool the better.
Pure wool made in new Zealand was important and knowing its going to be warm and durable is expected. Great product
