    The best socks

    I was disillusioned with the socks I'd seen and tried. I really wanted to find some thick quality woollen socks I could wear at home. The funny thing is, I remembered my boyfriend of 35+ years ago had loads of these norsewear type of socks, but naturally I thought they won't be around anymore, since so many of our industries are sadly gone. I couldn't believe it when I actually found them!! I recognised them straight away, and upon reading the history, knew they were the ones. So now I have 3 pairs and I'm very happy with them. To have such a quality New Zealand made product with NZ wool is awesome. Thanks for continuing to make your products.

    My warm socks for over 25 years now.

    The warmest, most durable socks I have ever owned. The first pairs that I bought in the mid 1990's have just been replaced and the new ones are just as awesome.

    My second order. Very good socks. Long lasting, comfortable and wear them every day for work and play. Will order again when needed. But that'll be in a few years... that's how long they last.

The coloured thread added to the Original Norsewear  Farm Fleck sock was done so around 15 years ago for 2 reasons;

  • The onslaught of imported imitations (which wore out in weeks!) that were being returned to us got too great to handle, so a coloured thread was added to the toe to heel as authentication.
  • The coloured threads are different for each size of the sock. The deep blue is for Large 8-10.5 size for washing identification.
